Lemme first say that I'm loving Simple Portal. Now that we've gotten that out of the way

Ive set the portal as the front page, but now that I've done that I'd like to have a hyperlink that would point back to the regular SMF front page. Any ideas on how to do this?

Do you mean a 'Forum' button for your menu? If you are using the default theme then it will be there automatically. If you are using a custom theme then refer to the General Custom Theme Tutorial.
