I downloaded a registration mod where when you post an event, you can register for this event.

When they register it keeps pushing the forum down.

I would like to customize it to the left block section.  In other words, I want to take out the linked events from the top, and add it to the left block section.

This mod is not a Simple Portal custom modification - I also use the event registration mod and saw your post over at SMF. I guess you could ask here for someone to change that to a SP custom block but it might be a lot of work... I would accept things as they are and use the SMF mod in the position it is at the top of each event topic.

It might not be that simple making a side block as it would have to show a different set of event registrations on each event/topic page - unless it is setup for only 1 event.

If you try to get everything exactly as you want it will take all your time, and others... Believe me, I have spent far too much time trying to customize things just the way I wanted - its not worth it, unless you are making a lot of money from it  :P

IamJaysta -- are you interested in pursuing this as a customization?
It could be a bit of work, getting things just how you want them, and would involve understanding a little about both mods.

OK if I move this to a customizatin board?
