Hey im new
lol i had to write the verification code so many times for registering
ok so on topic:

My blocks were working fine but one day they stopped showing up
the only ones tht were showing were shoutbox and a playlist i had
the rest werent why is tht?

please help

P.S sorry if i am in the wrong section

What was the last thing you did before they stopped working?

Any errors in the error log?

I'm logged in and the last thing I did was login lol andin the error log it says defined

Are you the only administrator? Another administrator could have altered the settings (you can check this in Admin > Maintenance > Admin Task Log).

Did you install any mods or make any alterations to the source code? If so, tell us what you added or modified.

Can you post a few of the errors in your Forum Error Log if you have some, as well?

No I'm not thr only admin OK so ATM I am on my tablet so when I go on my comp I will post the pici don't really see any that says Sp but I will show it to you.

k i cant understand the error log so can i do something else?

EDIT: lol ok i saw in the error log it said sp-something
so sp stands for simpleportal so all the sps right i guess there about simpleportal
so i copied them

OK, not that this is a problem, Your theme by Crip might not work with SP.

Hows does it work with the default theme?

Also when you create the block you can create permissions as to whom can view it.

Make sure you're not blocking yourself out.

Can you give details like your versions?
SP 2.3.4 had a bug which reset block permissions to 'disallow' after preview. If not this then it is most probably the permissions not set correctly. With no other information about how it (suddenly?) happened I cant help.

Like I said, 2.3.4 has bugs. Please upgrade and check your permissions settings again.

I just had a quick look at it and I guess the reason might be a bug in getShowInfo() function. I'm not sure if we've changed that in 2.3.5 but try upgrading to it. I mean uninstall 2.3.4 and install 2.3.5. Then let's see if the problem persists.

hi. I got a similar problem to Mstcool.
I got the last versions of smf and simpleportal.
Was working everything´s fine when suddenly all the pages started to not have blocks anymore.
I dont remember which was the last things I modified..
What could be the problem?
