Topic: my annoucments and topis disappear

Hi . I'm using smf 2.02 and simple portal 2.3.2. I have recent topis and announcments on my top block. My problem is my announcments disappear after 2 or 3 days if there is no new message and My recent topics also disappear if there are too many new messages in the topic. I set recent topics to show 30 topics and it shows only 17.. How can i solve these problems?

well ur sp version is not updated. and i had a problem with that using 2.3.4 now i have 2.3.5 and its working properly.

I am not certain why updating to 2.3.5 would make the difference.
The usual reason for the problem with "recent_posts" and "recent_topics" is that, on a busy forum, the posts on the featured board(s) are quickly pushed way back in the line.

ssi_recentPosts and ssi_recentTopics only look back so many posts before the most recent one.  The fix is to make a change to SSI.php -- to tell it to check MORE posts for ones from the board.

search for maxmsgID.
