How Do I Make A SP Page Appear On Navigation Bar?
« on: May 23, 2012, 06:55:07 PM »
I am wondering how to make my SP page appear as a clickable thing (for lack of a better term) on the navigation bar.

Thanks for reading,
AhellHound

SimplePortal does not have a tool for that.  However, you can find navigation button mods at simplemachines.org. The one by JohnCcCcCc has been tested with Simple Portal.  I have never used it, so I cannot tell you how well it works.

Any of the Custom Tab mods are ideal for the portal pages.

I currently use the version with 6 tabs on my 2.0.2 forum.

I just add any menu (nave bar) items for additional pages in SMF Subs.php. I always try to shy away from any mods so this is the process that I prefer.

 ;)

AhellHound,

Any smf mod for adding links to the nav bar should work for you as long as its compatible with your version of SMF (possibly emulated).
You will be required to add your page links in the mods admin setup.

You also have the option of using this custom php block: Click Here
However, the above block codes are for creating links as images (admin supplies/finds the images) and then displaying them vertically or horizontally separate from the nav bar.
