Topic: Installed SP 2.3.5 and immediate server error (500)

Goodday,

I have a fresh instalation of Simple Machines. And I wanted to install Simple Portal. It works great till it starts the redirect and it doesnt work.

You get a Internal Error 500.

If I change back to the index.php~ the instalation created the website works great. evry thing is created.

Eny sugestions?

Which redirect are you talking about?

a 500 error is an "unexpected" error.  Sometimes it can be caused, on some hosts, by TOO MUCH permission, if your host does not allow chmod 777 on directories or 666 on files.
