please help me, I'm a noob and I messed up and don't know how to fix it.

I added the latest simpleportal 2.1.1 mod to a friends smf 1.1.7 forum to display a cbox shoutbox.

I was trying to resize the iframe and my coding didn't work...

All i can view is the iframe on every page and i can't access admin functions to repair/redo it.

How do I go about disabling the iframe?

I have ftp access but I'm not sure how to proceed...

please help me  :(

I'm really sorry for the double post, I'm trying to work this out myself.

I've downloaded the index template and all the sportal templates I could find on the site and am wondering if there is some code in particular I should be looking for to change?

There must be something I can change to disable the block or the mod it self to get the site accessable again.

I'm going to go through the code and see what I can find ...

if someone knows what I should be looking for, please help...

EDIT:  Can someone tell me where the code I entered into the html block is stored.
If I can find that code then I can fix my mistake....

EDIT: How about permissions ... the block is disabled for guests and as a guest I can view the site with the assigned guest privilages...

how do I disable the block for admins?

k that won't work

'sp_block3' is the problem, where would it be stored... is there a directory I can find it in?

I need to remove some incomplete html code for it to function properly...

so is there nothing I can do?

is there no way to keep the block from loading long enough for me to fix my mistake?

Maybe a call for it somewhere in load.php or index.template.php or settings.php or one of the sm templates that I can change long enough to fix this?

I read through alot of code yesterday and didn't find anything I thought would work...

Should I restore a backup?

What to do?

I did a full restore and it's good to go...

Lessons learned:

1. Don't mess with things you don't have a good understanding of -- yeah not built that way

2. Don't play with an active site uneccessarily

Sorry for delayed response. They are stored in the smf_sp_blocks table. You can remove it throuh phpMyAdmin.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...
