It may depend on what code your using.

The code that is in SMF editor what ever that is, that is used for creating the block header with Custom BBC with the move control stuff

Everything I know about the [move] tag is in http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Move

For more control over the marquee tag, you might want to use an HTML custom block, and use HTML tags directly.

Thanks Luv, it looks like I will have to go the HTML route as I can't find anything in bbc to control speed.

That should do the trick. Now that I think of if, you should even be able to add a little HTML to a BBC page using the [html] tag.

Thanks, an example would help as to how to use that tag in BBC for us not so knowledgeable.
I did find the html code here that works great
