Im using aeva gallery with Simple Portal without problem - youtube links are embedded and play.
Example:
http://outdoorclubjapan.com/index.php?topic=1501.0

Also in the gallery.

Aeva may not automatically play video links in blocks... needs checking. All I do for blocks is use the youtube embed code - put it in an html block.
Everyone is a volunteer here so please try and make a small donation to keep the Simple Portal website running

Thanx for your answer but what i want is to make a new topic then add a video in the topic but all i get is the link. I have tried the code way in a block and that works but i need it to work on my forums is there something i need to enable or check.

Go to Admin/Auto-Embedding , you'll find it under the AEVA Package

At this point you'll see two tabs, configuration and sitelist, if you have this enabled (yes) "Enable Aeva mod (Master Setting)"

Go to "sitelist" and check the sites you want.

I too have the AEVA Mod and have been playing around with the settings as of the past week.  If you don't have anything check on that sitelist tab you won't see anything but a link.
