Topic: SP not installing correctly

I've installed SP a number of times without a hitch.  I just set up a new install of SMF 2.0.4, downloaded the SP package, click install, it shows no errors, install, no errors again, but no SP in the admin shows up.

Obviously it's not installing correctly even though no errors are generated.  I've chmoded everything to 777.  755 gave me problems at first.  FTP access is set up correctly, path is correct, database shows the SP tables.  I've even copied the files manually to the Sources/Themes directory.

Any ideas?

Are there any errors in your Forum Error Log?

It would appear that it simply did not install.  this happens sometimes with simple portal and other large mods.

Please check for
* presence of simple portal files
* presence of edits to SMF files
to see what did and did not happen during the install.
