Getting (Post-)Icons into Calender / Reminder? Possible?
« on: June 14, 2013, 02:12:08 PM »
Due this is my first post in here... Hello all, i'm the new one!

Just want so say that this forum provide a lot of help. Without i won't be able to get results i want to have at our site. Well done guys. Thanks!

Now let's talk about my "problem"...

Like the title says, i want (if possible) that you can see the post icons in the reminder. The page is going to be a gaming-guild website, so it would be a great addition if you can easily see the next few calendar entries by thier icon.

Here you got example pictures...

This is how it looks now - ONLY events in the next 14 days (today removed, default icons removed)

This is what-i-want-to-get-example - Different icons based on icon choosen for post icon (or based on caterogy?)

Currently i am using:

SMF 2.0.4
SimplePortal 2.3.5
Theme by myself

It's the default calendar.
The block is also the default block that is comming with SimplePortal
Like mentioned, block editet so far that only events for the next 14 days are visible without the one for "today" (thats displayed on the calendar itself one block above)

I got no problem to give every entry the same icon. Thats quite easy to put in of course with embed_image. But my coding experience don't reach that far to get working what i want to have...

Maybe you guys can work out something or know some tips about that.

Edit1: ... or maybe a second selector for this icons when you create an event? (think that would be an even better solution)

Thanks so far

This might be something more for smf than for here.

Have a look at this mod http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2860
