Blocks speak! Do you have an interest in getting more blocks - or even making your own? The Blocks Board is for you!

Shoutbox author color
« on: August 12, 2013, 10:58:01 AM »
Hello,

I'm using Colored Member Links. Simple Portal has a feature: "Disable Colored Member Links".
This feature works like a charm, however it is not effective within the Shoutbox.

I would like to request this to also become effective in the shoutbox for future SP versions, and I was hoping someone could share a trick on how I can currently disable Colored Member Links within Shoutbox for SP 2.3.5 :).

Thanks in advance

This change should do that:

Sources/Subs-Portal.php

Code: (Find and Remove) [Select]
' . (!empty($online_color) ? ' style="color: ' . $online_color . ';"' : '') . '
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

Edit: for some reason it took some time to work but it does now :D

It actually took a long time but you're welcome!

Since shoutbox caches the shouts it may take a while to refresh the cache unless you post or delete a shout. Glad that you got it working. ;)
