Topic: Portal is not shown

Hi,
I upgraded SMF to 2.06 and installed SimplePortal into the Forum Folder.
Then I Run Install2.php with no error.
But there is no Portal shown.
And in my Administration there is no entry for activating or so.
Can somebody helps me?

Can you show screen shots of your site, and admin panel.
There should be a menu item in Admin for Simple Portal. If not there it probably did not install correctly.

Also look in the package manager section to see if it really is there, and installed.
A screenshot of that would be useful

It might not have uploaded properly or installed correctly (in that case there might have been pre-install error warnings).

Package not uploaded properly to the server - seems common.
Not installed properly because of server file permissions - another common problem.

You can also check by ftp if the  simple portal files are in the 'Packages' directory

Got it.
Nobody told me that SimplePortal ist just a SMF Modification...
