Topic: Notify-System here in the forum

Hi guys,

I have a little question and I hope I haven't over see something. :-s

I have activated for some topics the "Notify-System" but it's strange, I never got and get an email when a posting was made in one of those topics.
Could be it has to do with my settings in the profile, but I don't know what I made wrong there.

Profile > Notifications and Email:

SMF allows you to be notified of replies to posts, newly posted topics, and forum announcements. You can change those settings here, or oversee the topics and boards you are currently receiving notifications for.


Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email. (Would need to be checked)
Receive reply notification only for the first unread reply.
Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.

For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me of:
(Replies and Moderation or Replies Only would have to be selected.)

BK, this looks like it may be a problem with this as a quick look in Manu's profile shows that notifications seem to be enabled correctly.

I'll have a look and see if I there are any problems on our side. We've also just upgraded, which may fix any issues.

There is still a problem. 
I wanted to unsubscribe some topics in my "Notifications", but when I click at "Unsubscribe" after I marked the topics a notification isn't any longer for need, I end in the profile summary. Went I back to my Notifications, all topics I wanted to unsubscribe still listed there.
