Easy one: Displaying an Action in a block
« on: August 27, 2014, 09:40:48 AM »
Tried searching for this, but maybe my brain just isn't working correctly this morning.

I want to have a custom block that displays Topics with Unread Replies. The Action is

Code: [Select]
index.php?action=unreadreplies
Help?

Inside your block (when editing), you should have an option "Advanced Options".
Click it, and you'll get a whole new menu. What you are searching for should be in there.

??? That has nothing to do with the OP's question.
The OP is not looking for placement options, but looking to PUT an action into a block.

Yes sorry, BurkeKnight is correct. In advanced display options there is 'Recent Unread Topics'.

But maybe not  quite what you want if its 'posts'/replies only.

Have you checked the custom blocks board, to see if anyone has done an Unread Posts block?

Oh so sorry!
I totally misread what was written.

I know that the functions can be found in Recent.php and Recent.template.php.
Not sure if they are easy to extract.
