How to hide Boards(Category) in Forum Index?

Because I am trying to replace it with a Simple Portal Block instead.
But then I also want to have the User Online in Info Center in my Forum Index.

Like I said I still need the forum URL... And also need to know which code you are going to use to replace them, not to create conflicts between my edits and yours.

I am not going to use any code to replace it.



I am only planning to remove the entire Boards, and then put a Top Block (Board News) in Forum Index.
