Since you bought it, I feel you'd deserve support on their forum (not because I don't want to give support for paid for stuff, but just because since you gave him money I guess it's his responsibility to ensure the produce works as expected).
That said, it seems you are having it into a side bare, that may be too narrow for the smfpacks shoutbox and you may have to place it either at the top or at the bottom?

Hi emanuele and thanks for the reply I only chose this shout box because of its extra features like being able to pop out, I ask the developer of the shout box but he implied it was a portal problem, it is current set to display in the smfpacks shout box block built in to the default portal package, maybe some thing in that code is limiting the size I really dont know where to look   :(

Well:
COMPATIBLE WITH ALL THEMES AND MODIFICATIONS!

Just upload the package and install it! This mod works in all themes, and is compatible with all modifications! We made this possible using integration hooks and other techniques to allow users to install this mod hassle-free!

But anyway.

From the image you posted, I can only guess the shoutbox has a min-width or something.
If you can post a link to a place I can see it, it may be possible to have an idea.

Well it does work but as can be seen in the picture it doesnt work as well as the more basic built in one, you think I should claim my money back ?
I did ask before buying it if it worked ok with simple portal and the answer was yes but it clearly doesnt work as it should its to narrow  :(

Are you using a custom php block, or are you using a block introduced by the shoutbox pack?

It's just the shoutbox coding that is atrocious :/

Then it is indeed a but with the addon: the code contains a table that spans wider than it should and makes the text overflow.
And if we want to add: the markup is completely wrong, because it uses a table to wrap a list of div.
The table has the id shoutbox_table.

Feel free to refer this post to him asking for a proper fix. ;)
