Where can i post new blocks for the simple portal?
I can convert some of my ssi blocks so that they work in tiny portal .

For Example: Latest Members, Thank-O-Matic, ...

I have created a new board called "Blocks" for the discussion of default or custom blocks.

You can put any custom blocks in there, don't forget that you will have to add a row to the '{$db_prefix}sp_functions' table, when you add a new block type.

One of the power features that I want to add to simple portal, is some sort of "Block Type Management system" that will make it easier to use your own custom block types.

I will not forget the database entries (i will look first how to insert it correct ).

Thats a nice idea =). But i think the greatest problem will be the Language strings for the blocks .

Question:
How should i submit it here?
Only with a package installer or the full code or the function? .

I will try to have a think about this and build some documentation/information about doing this. This is an area of Simple Portal that I am really excited about - Allowing anybody to create their own custom blocks and then post them on this website should be great. Making it really easy to install the blocks would make it even better.
