Welcome back

Hey guys, welcome back, it's good to see the site back up and running.  ;)

Also good news is your activation emails are working, just had to change my email and was able to do it without problem.

Think you have a problem with the smileys though.

Think it's only a problem in IE11, because they all show in edge, and chrome etc.

Imo it's likely a theme issue regarding image paths.
Perhaps adjusting the theme to use a full path for the images will be compatible with all the major browsers.
I didn't look into this yet and it's just a guess at this point.

Thanks for the report.

No problem.  Looking at these images, including the one in your downloads block https://simpleportal.net/images/download-small.gif  and wink.gif etc,

they are downloading as PNG files not gif for some reason.  If that's any help. ;)

Yes it seems it may be related to the DOM showing a file type mismatch.
It may possibly be caused by a no sniff header security setting in the Apache config files (I did not add it to .htaccess).
Either way I am working on it.

Thanks.

The issue with the smileys should be fixed now. Thank you for the report. Let us know if you experience any other issues.
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

Thanks, yes the smileys are working now, but something else is popping up on the page now when I click reply,

Also The image in the top right block on the home page, is still showing a placeholder in IE11 https://simpleportal.net/images/download-small.gif

This should be fixed as well. If you see this again, just do a hard refresh on the page and it shouldn't happen again.
