Is it ok to go from version 2.3.3 to 2.3.7? 

Seems all I have to do is uninstall 2.3.3 and install 2.3.7...correct?

portal will be same as it was?

As long as you don't select the delete all modification data while uninstalling... Yes, that should work :) Backup to be on the safe side.
