Uninstalling 2.0.2...
« on: February 12, 2009, 06:19:27 AM »
I am having an uninstall issue also.

But it concerns SP 2.0.2

This is why I get when I try and uninstall:

1.   Execute Modification   ./index.php   Test failed
2.   Execute Modification   ./Sources/Display.php   Test successful
3.   Execute Modification   ./Sources/Load.php   Test failed

Thanks for any help.

BTW: SP is a great package/mod!

Continue with the uninstall and then manually remove the leftover parts in those files, or post them here and somebody will try to do it for you.

Uninstalling 2.0.2...

Sorry I don't understand, "Leftover parts," I opened both those files and they are filled with stuff.

If I tried to uninstall and waited for the files to be repaired, would my forum still be operational?

I tried and tried to add attachments here but could not. So I uploaded the two files, in one zipped folder, to;

http://www.tbaja.com/TBAJA-SP-Files.zip

These files came from my forum, BEFORE I uninstalled SP 2.0.2. I am hoping that they can be fixed before I try to uninstall. That way I do not have any downtime with my forum.

Thanks

Paul

I was wondering about my previous question above. I have not received any response yet.

Sorry, to be inquiring again, but it has been over four days.  :)

Spilt this topic from the other one, its better to post separate support requests, so that they are easier to address.

Okay, I have removed the edits that SimplePortal 2.0.2 makes to those files, they are attached. I would recommend that you uninstall SimplePortal and then override your old files with the attached files, although it shouldn't matter too much.
