I dont know if this is a very basic question. I have SMF 2.0RC1 and I want to remove the login in header because I've already kept a block for that in simple portal.

Now, I've got two login forms. I want to remove the one in the header but I dont know how.

I've attached the screenshot for reference.

I searched to disable it in current theme settings but couldn't find any option for it.

Do you want to disable it for every page, or just for portal? What's is your theme?
And slowly, you come to realize... It's all as it should be...

Is this possible?
If it is, I would like to know how and what I have to do.
I'm using the "Multi Color Overview" and would be happy to get off the login part in the
header of the portal at our site. :D

But only in the portal, at the forum itself it should still be. :D

I am using SimpleV2.. I thought it was really easy.. I never knew someone didnt ask that before.

I want to disable it on every page as I've configured my block to be displayed on every page.

dpacmittal:

index.template.php

Find:

// Otherwise they're a guest - this time ask them to either register or login - lazy bums...
else

Replace:

// Otherwise they're a guest - this time ask them to either register or login - lazy bums...
elseif (1 == 2)

Manu:

I'll look into yours later, I don't have Overview with me ATM.

After a little change of the code, I had to put space between else and if, the code works perfect for me too.
