Some questions:
Did you reinstall SimplePortal after you upgraded SMF?
Which version of SimplePortal are you using?

You could try uninstalling and then reinstalling SimplePortal, that could fix the issues.

Previously I had 1.1.8 and SP 2.1.1.

After I upgraded to RC1 I reinstalled SP 2.1.1 and I did uninstall and reinstall after I noticed the error.

I also get this in my error log..

8: Undefined offset: 21
File: /home/xxxxxx/public_html/Themes/default/SPortal2.template.php (portal_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 53

Over on SMF someone mentioned that it could be the theme but it does the same thing and get the same error in the default theme as well.

Any ideas?

I think I know what the issue is.

Did you attempt to convert your themes as you upgraded from SMF 1.1.8 to SMF RC1? If you did then you are probably still using the old default theme. Try uninstalling all your mods, overwriting your current '/themes/default/' folder with the one from the SMF 2 RC1 install package, and then reinstalling your mods.

no he is missing the language files, the sp files, the images for sp, and editing the index.template.php file, if he needs to do that.  8)

Thanks for the responses.

After I upgrade to RC1 I didn't have any Mods installed. SP was the first thing that I installed.

I used a brand new fresh theme.

My theme does not have a language folder, it uses the default.

Looking through the Parser on the DL Page @ SMF I don't see where there are any edits to the index.template.php file.

I moved the 3 images to mycustomtheme/images folder.

I moved the 3 SP Template files to my custom theme folder.

Ugh @ uninstalling all mods LOL, I will use that as a last resort.

Could it possibly be the language files, if so what would I add to what file, I don't see any language file edits in the Parser either?

Check that you have the 'SPortal.english.php', 'SPortalAdmin.english.php' and 'SPortalHelp.english.php' files in your '/Themes/default/languages' directory. Altough I suspect that you do, you could try reuploading those files from the package, to see if that helps.

I checked and they were there and then I followed your suggestion and still nothing changed.

I saw a post (but can't find it now) about changing the table to lower case ID_BLOCK to id_block etc. Could that be it, if so exactly how would I do that?
