Testing out 2.2, but getting errors
« on: April 02, 2009, 01:51:24 PM »
Hi all!

First of all - THANK YOU for SP 2.2! The design is spot-on and couldn't be simpler to operate.  :applause:

Now - for a bit of wonky bad news:

I'm getting odd errors when I click on any menu option while in the ADMIN CP of the forum (not the admin cp for SP, but for the whole forum). Example: I click the link in the admin cp menu for "members" under the "Members" heading, and I get this error:

8: Undefined index: tab_unread
File: /home/allsides/public_html/testsite/testforum/Themes/default/ManageMembers.template.php (main_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 583

Or, I click "Blocks" under the "Simpleportal" heading in the forum's admin cp, and I get this error:

http://www.testsite.allsidespoliticalforums.com/testforum/index.php?action=spadmin;area=blocks

8: Undefined index: tab_unread
File: /home/allsides/public_html/testsite/testforum/Themes/default/languages/SPortalHelp.english.php (main_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 583

Before installing 2.2, I had been running 2.1.1 Classic, which was an upgrade from 2.0.5. I uninstalled/deleted all of that, and did a fresh install (via the "Package Manager") if SP 2.2.

Advice, comments, questions?

Much appreciated!
Thanks!
Tal

Ok...had to do a fresh config of a new test site. I fouled up the other one pretty good - - but, what are test sites for?

Anyway - I did a fresh install of 2.2, and it seems to be working fine.
I had a few mods installed on the other test site, but I don't think that was the issue.

Will test out completely, but, I think that may have solved the problem.
If I have any more issues, I'll start a new thread.

Thanks.
