Topic: SMF 2.0 RC1 upgrade problems!!

Hi guys iv been using SP for a while now and love it.

But when i upgraded my test forum and tryed to install SP i got this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sp_hacks_park_shoutbox() in /home/spark/public_html/Packages/temp/install2.php on line 597
I know this is an error with the Hacks park shout box but i uninstalled it and the block before starting the upgrade :S

Can some one help me?

The Hacks Park Shoutbox block/mod doesn't work with SMF 2, so I am guessing that you upgraded to SMF 2, and then uninstalled that mod, that would have meant that it wouldn't have uninstalled correctly.

Use PHPMyAdmin to run these two database queries:

DELETE FROM {$db_prefix}sp_functions WHERE name = 'sp_hacks_park_shoutbox

DELETE FROM {$db_prefix}sp_blocks WHERE type = 'sp_hacks_park_shoutbox'

Replace '{$db_prefix}' with your forums database prefix.

Running those database queries will remove any leftover parts of that block/mod, so that you can continue with the install of SimplePortal.

:S this is where it get tricky i did my research and uninstalled the shout box and block before upgrading and it was uninstalled successfully.

I don't know its on a test site so i'll wipe and do it again then post back here.

mmk sry guys i have been flat out at work then got capped  but now its a long weekend and im uncapped so im back to work im attempting to upgrade the test site now and will get back to you shortly

Ok success it upgraded perfectly and installed SP perfectly so idk what i did a week ago that made it stuff up :S

Anyways thanks for the help anyway and hopefully i wont need any when i do the real site :S
