Topic: Error on install

Hi,

I just tried installing SP 2.2 on my forum and got this error:

    Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/index.template.php     Test failed

These are the mods we have installed:


   PM On Registration    1.0.2
    Poll Option in Post    1.0
   SMF 1.0.14 / 1.1.6 Update
    AvatarSelect    1.1.2
   SMF 1.0.15 / 1.1.7 Update    1.0    
    Random_Quote    1.2       
   SMF 1.0.16 / 1.1.8 Update    1.0    
    SMF Links    1.8.1.1    
    New In Topic View    1.1    
    SMF Articles    1.0.1.7    
    Universal Clock    0.9.4test2    
    Advanced Contact Form    1.1

I get the same error when trying to uninstall random quote, but that's not your issue obviously

The edits to that file relate to the "Forum" button, you can continue with the install of SimplePortal and then add that button afterwards. Its likely that another mod has added its code there.

For adding the button, you can either:
1) Attempt to add it yourself, the topic below should help you to do that (its for custom themes, but it can be applied to any theme):

2) Post your index.template.php file as an attachment to your next post, and I will do the 4 edits that are required.
