  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

install error 2.21

im using smf 2.01rc

i dowload the simple portal 2.21 from here
then i go to dowload packages (on my forum) and i get some errors

/source/admin.php fails and execute admin fails in the same part?

what do i do?

You will have to apply SimplePortal to that file manually (use the 'Manual Install Instructions for SMF' feature on the SMF download mirror), or post your Admin.php file and I can apply it for you.

You can continue with the install and then apply those edits. :)

As I said in my last post, you can continue with the install and either:
- Post the files which had errors ("Test Failed") and I can apply the edits (seeing as there are so many, putting them in an .zip or similar archive would make sense).
- Apply the edits manually yourself, using FTP/your hosts file manager to get the relevant files, and then an editor such as notepad++ to edit them. You can get the manual edits required from the SMF download mirror, use the 'Manual Install Instructions for SMF' function. ;)

Did you manage to install SimplePortal manually jmcmatrixs? Or do you still require assistance with the installation?
