Topic: Hello Quick Questions

SMF Version: 1.1.9
SimplePortal Version: 2.2.2

I Have a quick question.

1,where can i find the polls block in 2.2.2 of simple portal it's talked about it but in the block section of my website i don't see a block named polls =/

also

2,how can i add a shoutbox to simpleportal

both of theses questions ive searched on here and google to find no exact answers...the shoutbox thing i heard can be paired with simple portal from one of the shoutbox's on smf's modification site but i cannot seem to get it to work maybe cause there diffrent versions then the author was talking about   

also

3,how do i get blocks to appear next to the forum instead of it's own link such as Home | Forum i want some blocks like you all have to appear next to the forum if possible? <---

4, also is there a way to have pages on simple portal? such as about? staff page? etc..


Sorry this is so many questions just didn't want to create multiple topics on diffrent issues ^^

also i am fairly new to smf and simpleportal ^^ only had it about 4/5 weeks now

1) You can add a new block with the type "Poll".

2) Have a look at this topic: SP block for Hack's Park Shoutbox.
It has a mod attached that gives you a block for that shoutbox, and a link to the most recent version of it.
3) You just want to add blocks in your forum areas right? Try editing the "Display options" for each of your blocks, there you can choose where your blocks are shown.

to #3 can you select it to display in multiple places? 

#4 how can i remove the "Who is online footer" at the bottom of the page so that i just have the who's online on the sidebar like you all do? i can't find the code for the who's online thing at the bottom

3) Yes, use the "Advanced Options" if you want more control.
4) We actually do have the users online info on our boardindex. There should be a 'Show who is viewing the board index and posts' setting for your theme. Try setting that to 'Don't show'.
