I added SP 2.2.2, but it all looks the same, now what?
« on: June 27, 2009, 04:57:58 PM »
Hello,

I just added SP 2.2.2 to my new SMF install.   Everything still looks the same, like it isn't enabled (though the mod is).

Is there something I need to do to make this work?  Apply it some how?    Is there an SP admin panel somewhere?    Right now the page looks like the same generic SMF forum, nothing is different since I added the package.

Also, does this website have a FAQ?  I searched but did not find it.  I don't see any instructions for doing anything with this mod.  Surely it must exist somewhere, but I cannot seem to find it.

Thanks!

EDIT:   Maybe SP didn't install right??

Did you get any errors on install?

I got an error that you mentioned to create a temp directory in Packages to 777 to fix.

Then it said it was installed once I created that temp directory.

What is supposed to happen once the install finishes?  I don't see a single different thing on the SMF page.

Could I PM you the URL to look at please?

Hmm that is odd.

Yes, send me a PM with the link to your site if you wish it to remain private.
