everything that goes with a site
« on: July 27, 2009, 10:09:56 AM »
Hi all, I am a newbie and just got my site completed and I'm about to launch it. I was wondering about all the legal stuff that goes along with owning a site.
First I would like to know about copyright. Is it necessary, what are the benefits, how do I get copyrighted?
Also I would like to know about things that I need to do to get as much tax credit as possible. I've read in other sites stuff about needing to file forms so that I can file deductions for any expenses and stuff.

If there is anything else I need to worry about before I start making money and having members?

I plan on advertising my site on other forum sites and lists to start as well as using $20.00 of google credit that I have. I know this should probably go in another post but any suggestions for someone starting out would be appreciated. Implementing all the above will probably take a little while but is there something I'm missing that I should take care of right away?
Thank you,
Scott

Hi, I just noticed you posted to this. Sorry it took so long to get back. You can find the site at Newbies Central Forum. I am currently adding a new custom index page and trying to work on the custom themes. The page runns off the side on almost every theme.

I could use all the advertisement I can get. I have a banner rotator on the bottom of my forum page as well. Just check the affiliate tab for information.
Thank you,
Scott
