  • {OCS}MasterSeal: I know this SB isnt' for support, but I just have a general question. Who would I contact to find out where SP stores its block info? Is it DB driven or files? I searched the site but came up with nothing. probably my fault any insight is appreciated.

Article question

Not really a support question and wasn't sure where to post this but could someone please explain the functionality of the article / category system. I'm just not quite sure how to take advantage of it. Everything else ... 2 thumbs up.

You can make articles-- eg, you can specify what posts you want to appear on the frontpage by making them articles.

Likewise, you can give each post its own picture dictated from a category. Eg, you can have all "Site Maintenance"-like posts made into articles under the category "Site Maintenance" with a traffic-cone icon.

It isn't much different from Board News block currently, except that you can choose which topics to be displayed exactly, and use category image. We are using article system here.

Hopefully there will be an advanced article system in 2.4 version.
