How do i remove the "Welcome to simple portal!" on the front page?

Every theme i've tried so far has no "forum" button with it. Is there some code I can edit to fix this?

Simply go to your SP admin and remove the custom HTML from portal

where is the "remove custom html" in the admin SP

ADMIN -> SimplePortal -> Blocs -> Top Blocks

There you have the Custom HTML bloc with the welcome message from Simple Portal.
