Making a block show up inside of the forum?
« on: September 13, 2008, 12:27:10 PM »
Hi SimplePortal!

I'm wondering, how do I go about making a block show up inside of the forum instead of just the homepage?

Thanks in advance!

Bradderz

Bradderz, welcome to SimplePortal.net.

Currently, forum integration (showing blocks inside the forum) is not a released feature of SP. We are currently testing this feature here on SP.net, and it should be released to you, the users, in SimplePortal version 2.1.
Ms. Eliana TamerinIt should be painfully obvious by now that I don't respond to support PMs. Don't send me PMs for support. They will be ignored and deleted, post on the Support Boards to get support.

When it's ready.

That is approximate and exact. It will be ready when its ready. Final answer.

Setting deadlines just either means a rushed and poor quality software, or poor morale from users for having to wait so long. So there are no deadlines, it will just be released when its ready.

Looking forward to it :)

It would be great to be able to choose different blocks for inside the forum than those on the main page, for example I have quite a few blocks on the main portal page, but just having two or three, like you have here, would be better for the forum pages.

That is already a feature of the 2.1 alpha version, as you can see on this website. We are still working on  improving it though. ;)
