A tiny question!
« on: September 26, 2009, 02:37:45 PM »
Hi all, nice mod you have there...

I am a heavy user of Tiny Portal which I find the best if you want to have articles or other CMS -like stuff in your forum.

I do like though, the SPs shoutbox.

My question now: is it possible to install Siple Portal WITH Tiny Portal already installed?

Thank you.

Short and simple: No.

Use one or the other. :)

I have read that there will be an articles system in the near future...

How near is that?  :nervous-happy:

And something else...

Is it possible to have a Pages catalog in a block or somehow else?

(it is the only way to have real atricles in the SP).

...and this one.

There is an error in your profile info:

Code: [Select]
$("div.location").hide();
Somethings wrong with display template perhaps?

There is a pages system which functions similarly to TP's articles system. I suggest using that or SMF Articles.
Ms. Eliana TamerinIt should be painfully obvious by now that I don't respond to support PMs. Don't send me PMs for support. They will be ignored and deleted, post on the Support Boards to get support.

I already use SMF Articles in my live site but there is a big minus in that: you can not use a WYSIWYG editor.

As for the Pages, it doesnt have an editor so its function is limited (no comments function , no blocks with recent or random articles, no featured articles etc).

A full articles system is one of the features that we are going to put into SP 2.4, feel free to post any suggestions in the Feature Requests board.
