Earlier i had installed a new theme for my forum and almost right away i had people emailing me saying they can see my Admin Tab and when they input their own password, they get to the Simple portal Admin section ????

This happens with the anecodota theme made by Crip

Once i uninstalled the portal, all went back to normal??

below is a screenshot sent to me by one of my members

Strange thing being that it only goes to my portal admin section and not my full admin section?

Anyone else suffer from this, or have any ideas what might be causing this, I'm using the latest version

thanks

Gerry

What version of SMF are you using?  If 1.1.X could you attach your index.template.php file, if 2.X attach your subs.php file.

Hi Chris

This would appear to be a permissions issue. Remove any SimplePortal permissions that your regular members have, in the admin panel under 'Members' -> 'Permissions' -> Click on a membergroup to edit it.
