Could it ever be possible to make a block for teamspeak, ventrillo, or mumble on the sp blocks so that we can view if anyone is on a server or not which would make it alot easier for alot of us people that are gamers and other communities that use any of those three VOip programs?

Not sure whether they have an API to use for this. Taking a quick look at TeamSpeak site, I think they might have some third-party plugins, not sure. I'm afraid my time is extremely limited, to try them all though.
Perhaps it would be worth checking with any you wish, on their Support forums, what PHP API they provide to see users online and whatever else you wish, then we can surely make a block for it. :)
If I can find the time for it, I would try to do it too in any case. Speaking as an ex-gamer, I know how handy it would be.

I've looked around teamspeak, mod, and other sites like these and never could find a mod that would give anything like what i've been looking for.

They don't need to provide everything, only the API for us, that is, a collection of functions that we can use to communicate with the TeamSpeak/etc server, and find out what to display. Then we make a block where the informations are displayed.

For example, this says something along those lines:
http://forum.teamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=33367
However, when I try to go to their website, I find that the domain has been abandoned meanwhile.

I've seen that, tried and didn't like it.  It does not give you the option to really change anything hardly at all.  It works for some, but not all.
