I am sorry for bad English. Machine translation.
There was a problem: if to include limitation on quantity of characters in articles the portal of 6-7 seconds very slowly works. If limitation = 0 all is good 0.1-0.2 seconds. A forum of 0.1-0.2 seconds always.
Help please.
In advance thanks.

Removed the duplicate topic.

I have confirmed this performance issue on my localhost, it seems that the sp_truncateText function is extremely inefficient. My times jumped from 0.1s to about 0.6s.
