Topic: Shoutbox in a Custom Action Page ?

hello,

with custom action mod i make a new page as ../index.php?action=blabla and l make a new shoutbox.

when l go to add block and in Custom Display Options l write blabla.

Custom Display Options: blabla
 
l have this message:

"We're sorry. It seems this shoutbox only existed in your head. "

what does it mean? what can l do for show shoutbox in a custom action page ?

Yes l created a new shoutbox

This can be a little confusing the first go at it.

 It's a two step process

 1) Go to the admin section and select shoutbox make a shoutbox there name it ect..

 2) go to the blocks section and make a shoutbox block where it says "shoutbox to display" put the name of the shoutbox you created in step 1

 Then you should have a shoutbox that exists outside your head

 I'm not a pro at this but I got the same message the first attempt before I figured it out!

yes it's right. you are not a pro but for me you are as a devlopper  .

you see the shoutbox but you don't modify the "width" in a action page  so it's not beautiful to see lol

l think it's not the shoutbox that l think.
