Topic: No images in shoutbox

When i put [img ]http://link [img/ ] in the shoutbox, nothing happens.

Each shoutbox has a list of 'Allowed BBC'. Edit your shoutbox and make sure that the img bbc tag is selected under 'Allowed BBC'.

The strange thing is that i have that selected.
I get the BBC, and i can put in the link, but then it do not disappear.

Could you please post a link to the site where this is occuring? Preferably with a test user account so that I can have a look at the issue.

Okay, I see. You cannot post images alone in the shoutbox, a text should be there. You can change that behaviour like this though:

Sources/Subs-Portal.php

Code: (Find) [Select]

if (trim(strip_tags(parse_bbc($shout, false))) === '')

Code: (Replace) [Select]

if (trim(strip_tags(parse_bbc($shout, false), '<img>')) === '')

Hello - I was also having the same issue with no images showing using the IMG tag, so thanks for the fix.

However I still found a remaining issue with the smileys [more] popup: when I click it the popup opens a blank page.  Im wondering if this is because I am using a different smiley pack.  I have set the 'LightB' smiley pack to my default.

Is there something I need to edit somewhere to make this work again?
