Install problem
« on: January 01, 2010, 07:55:33 AM »
Hello,

My error is: ''Unable to load the 'Portal' template.''

I upload the need for speed theme ( http://www.eotsdzine.com/DEMO/index.php?theme=11)

Than i went to admin > browse > simple portal > install mod
Than i had to click the link ''here'' and it said that i need to make those files writeable.
Image: http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/5026/smferror.jpg
I cmod them all to 777, than i get the Install button, i clicked install and now i have this error on my site:
http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/7471/statussmf.jpg
I can click the buttons on my site , but it doesnt load anything.

I read some topics about making temp file or something. But i dont know how that must.

EDIT: Is there someone who can help me via teamviewer, only installing the SimplePortal ? I think it cost 10 minutes of time and than i can learn how it must be done. Send me please a email if u want to help me.

I think i go for the 3rd time delete all my files in ftp, re upload the forum to my ftp by dragging it in the map ''forum'' than install i the theme, and than someone must help me installing portal via program teamviewer.
Any volunteers?

Unless someone knows the solution for my problem now, but the search option didnt found any solutions.

What exactly do you mean by 'it crash'? Could you please explain your issue?
