Portal Blocks Everywhere
« on: February 07, 2010, 02:25:22 PM »
I've got the portal installed and working, but want to make one change that I can't quite figure out.  The home page of the site http://www.musketeerfootball.com works fine.  However, when you click on any forum posts on the front page and get into the forum, the portal blocks are still there.  I'd like them to not be.  You can see what I mean on this site http://www.cincysportscar.com.  What am I doing wrong?

Edit block - "Display Options" - "Show block on" - "Portal". :)

When I do that, I lose having the forum show in the center of the front page, or if I select Integration mode, the blocks stay everywhere.

Select 'Integration' mode. Then set your blocks to display on the 'forum' action, using the display options, don't forget to click the 'Advanced Options' checkbox!

That doesn't seem to make any difference.  The blocks are still either everywhere, or nowhere.  What should I be selecting, if anything, under advanced options?

Only select the 'forum' option under 'Select actions'. Make sure that every other option under "Display options" is deselected (although you still need to have the 'Advanced options' checkbox enabled of course).
