Integration with Blog Comunity
« on: October 03, 2008, 06:54:58 PM »
It's possible to request an integration between Simple Portal and Blog Comunity MOD (Here!) in the same way of SMF Shop, Arcade, Image Gallery, ecc..??

Thanks!
Bye.

It should be possible and sounds like a good idea, although it may not get made until the Devs and Customizers have done some more work on the SimplePortal Core, unless of course, someone takes a special interest it it. ;)

Just a question, what exactly would you want the block to show?

Should be usefull to have the same possibility given by News Block: to set a particular blog's article (selected by ID) to be showed in SPortal homepage.

I tryed but News Block shows only topic taken from forum... ID of Blog Community articles are different....

Thanks!

Something that I think would also be nice is to have it list the member names who have made the latest blog entries. with the user name being clickable to take you to their profile and the blog title being clickable to take you to their blog. I think that would be all that needed to be listed in the block (at least for what I'm thinking of using it for) :)

There is a built-in block added for zCommunity mod in 2.2.
