I browsed this forum for some help and I noticed that you can emulate the latest version of smf to act like older versions to install mods by going through some advanced option. Well my board doesn't seem to have that and I can't find it anywhere in my administration panel

To find the emulate version area.

Go to:

Browse packages which takes you to the list of mods on your forum.

On the right of the page below the lists( assuming you also have avatars) should be a link called advanced.

Once there you can then emulate the forum version.

I had the same problem with my SMF too.  Nothing in the admin center...

Got suggestions to try reinstalling it:

But it didn't work for me.

Emulation is only a select on SMF 2.0.

You need to manually put ;version_emulate=2.0 RC2 into the URL for the installation.

I reinstalled completely and got it works, thanks for the help though
