Am I correct in saying that you currently use a free host and are looking at transferring to another one?

If so the best place to request help with moving the forum is over at sm.org.

Closed the duplicate topic.

I am also unclear about what you want to do. Are you trying to move your SMF install? That would be something that you have to talk to your host about. (if you need instructions for moving SMF then try asking at SimpleMachines.org)

What exactly are you trying to do? Do you already have a forum? Are you trying to move your forum, or install a completely new one?

There are detailed installation instructions for SMF: http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?board=2.0;sort=subject

That is a question that you should ask over at the SMF support forum.

They have boards dedicated to General Support and hosting issues (such as finding a new host).
