I tried installing the Good Post/Bad Post mod on my test SMF2 RC3 forum which has SimplePortal 2.3.1 installed.

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1890

I had trouble finding the admin panel for the mod since it wasn't under the "Forum" menu like it should be, only to find it had installed under the SimplePortal menu for some reason. Otherwise it works fine.

I contacted the mod author about it since obviously it's an issue with the mod install, but his response was:

QuoteUnfortunately I'm not familiar with the inner workings of SimplePortal. Maybe someone else has experimented this and found a workaround? Anyone?

Anyhow, I know it's not SP's fault or issue, but would there be someone from the SP team willing to help OutofOrder sort out the bug in his installer? I'm considering using the mod for my actual SMF2 upgrade later.

PS: why does it say this when I post here?

QuoteYour Simple Machines Forum (SMF) version (2 RC2) is out of date. Try upgrading before asking for support, your problem may have been fixed in a later version. Latest SMF version/s: 1.1.11, 2 RC3
