Hello,
I am kind of new in the SMF forums I was working all that time with forumotions and I've understood that SMF is the best forum out there!
I am a game owner and I wanted to have a nice forum for my game.
here is my corrent website http://64.186.154.171 and I really want to have the simple portal on my SMF.
When I install the simple portal it's change my forum to a forum with just text only text and "x" on the pictures..any ideas?I have tried download all the versions.
I really need your help guys.

Weird!!! Looks like your site is missing a css file or something??? Not sure how this happened but I'm sure someone will help you out.

The kind of forum where all support is given by volunteers who give up their time to help people. It is not unreasonable to wait a day or two for support here. Please try to avoid triple posting and being rude.

I cannot see the issue on your website, it appears to be working fine. Although I can only see a login box, because you have guest access disabled. Could you possibly make a test user account so that I could have a look at the problem?

I'm really sorry for the triple posting like i've said.
Right now I am running the core theme cause the simple portal not work for me.
I've already posted a picture and someone replayed that some css files are missing.
why?
I just installed the last simple portal version on my smf ver2 and its wont work like you can see in the picture.

It is most likely that an error is causing SMF not to load the normal CSS files, although I can't say that I can immediately say what the error would be.

Do you have any related errors in your forum error log?

I am using this forum for 10 days somthing like that, never had any error any any any just when I try use simpleportal maybe I need install another version and then the 2.3.2?[which mean its only upgrade]

When you use SimplePortal, are there any related errors in the forum error log? Apologies, I should have worded my question more clearly. If there are any errors when SimplePortal is installed, then that may help to fix your problem.

I've seen this happen before, usually on websites that are hosted on the owner's computer.

Have you installed any other mods to SMF?
Did you follow the instructions given at the SMF website:

that is realy strange how can he not install well if i never have this kind of problems before.

maybe u miss some file or maybe some mods are making some corrupt thing on your site.

I have my smf working perfectly and yes, I followed the instruction.
I think if someone will upload his files that could help.
I will just change the configuration and everything will work [I hope].
btw no mods in my forum at the time.

You just need to donwload simpleportal then upload to your pack manager then its working.

Seeing as you have no mods installed, have you tried uninstalling SimplePortal, reuploading all the clean SMF files (the files from the major update package will do - as long as you delete the upgrade files), then reinstalling SimplePortal?

I've done everything you just said and I still have the damn problem, guys you dont know how much I want this working on my forum.
Maybe the best way to support me is one on one on msn or somthing and when It get fixed I will posted the solution in here.

When I look at your forum, all I see is a message that you have been hacked.
But I don't see anything that looks like the image you posted.
The first thing I saw looks like theme 12 is your default for guests:

everything looks normal, I guess -- since you have it in maintenance mode, I cannot see the portal at all (and so on, for themes 5-9)

But, at

http://legacypt.net/index.php?theme=11
I see something that looks like the image you posted (hard to tell, again, because the site is in maintenance mode).

So it really does seem like you are having a problem with these three themes.
And that the other themes are not a problem.

Please check again, using the default theme. Please see if the portal is working.

There is something wrong with those three themes. The problem with those three themes probably has nothing to do with SimplePortal. They may be the wrong version for your version of SMF.

It looks like your default theme may be fine. I would like to be able to help you get started with SimplePortal. Can we stick with themes that work? For example, http://legacypt.net/?theme=1

When I look at that link, I cannot see anything but a login box. That is all guest can see.
You will have to tell me more about how you have installed and used SimplePortal.

What do you see when you use the SimplePortal administration tools?

One thing very unusual I notice about your website -- everything is running inside a frameset.

in here everything work fine I can do what ever I want on my forum perfectly 100%
and yes you can see only the loginbox cause the guests cant enter my forum.

I installed the smf ver2 and then downloaded the simple portal that match to the smf2.
Then I opened the admin panel browsed the simpleportal installed it and then when I try to used it I get the error you can see on the last 3 themes [no skin]

It is confusing for me to go in two directions at once, but I will try.

ISSUE 1 -- TROUBLE WITH THEMES
OK so, before you installed SimplePortal, themes 3, 10, and 11 worked perfectly?
What happens if you disable SimplePortal -- do they again work perfectly?

ISSUE 2 -- QUESTION ABOUT PACKAGE INSTALLATION
In a separate issue, you asked for information on installing SimplePortal. Did you follow the instructions at http://docs.simplemachines.org/index.php?board=49.0;sort=subject on how to install a package? When you started installation, did all the pre-installation tests succeed?

Looking back over your posts now, I can see that you were talking about "theme" while I was talking about "package". We just assumed we were both talking about the same thing...
