Topic: Maybe bugs

Hi,

to translate the Portal into German it was easier for me by checking the options aso.

Cause of this I found something weird, but I don't know if it is a bug or only an error in my testforum.

I was working at the translation for the "Board News Block", to find out what's the meaning of the settings I started to create such a block and stopped at this:

"Starting post ID"

I add the ID of the board, the number of topics to display and searched for the ID of the starting post.

For example I wanted to use the board with the ID 2, 3 topics should be desplayed and I wanted to start with the posting ID 3.

I clicked at "Add Block".

I went to the portal to check the block. I could see the block with the name, but in the block itself wasn't anything to see. I went back to the settings of the block and add instead of the posting ID the topic ID, but the same happened in the block. There wasn't anything to see. In the block was something to see after I let the "Starting post ID" empty. With this settings I could see something in the block.

I tried something again.
I changed the settings in the block to "Board ID = 1" "Starting post ID = 1". ID of the first topic in this board is 1 too. I could see the topics in the block, but only with this settings.
I tried it several times with an other board ID, but I could see only something in the block when I left the "Starting post ID" empty.

To be honest I don't understand the meaning of "Starting post ID" 
What kind of ID? The Id of a topic or the start posting of a topic.

Thanks for posting, I postet it on the bug tracker.
I've a fix for it but i'm not sure if that the correct fix .
