Radio Controled Model Boats
« on: August 26, 2010, 08:04:02 AM »
first of all i was not to sure if our website would be up to the standards of your Users, and was not to sure whether to post this in the showcase, but here goes

www.deansmarine.co.uk

we design and produce Radio Controlled Model Boats.
the above link will take you straight to our SP/SMF powered website
SP 2.3.2
SMF 2 RC3

customizations, mod's, etc;
Info Center Permissions [still to be installed]
Contact Page  [modified]
Aeva Media
Hide SMF Version

the theme is based on the default curve theme which has been moded by my self to look more nautical, most of the modification was CSS related and a few images changed.
of course there has been a few modification to SP and SMF, most of these were also just in the CSS, for example padding and cell spacing
a lot of code moving was done in the Subs.php so as to make the Navigation area.

DESCRIPTION:
the forum has been laid out for anyone requiring help in building one of our Model Boats
the forum is run and maintained by modellers, not by the manufactures.

the site is open to all guests, guest can post but the post will only become visible once a moderator has approved it.

We hope you like it.
as a foot note:
i went from a SMF 1.1.11 to SMF2 RC3 with out any problems what so ever, first of all de-install all Mods, converted to RC3, then installed SP2.3.2, then installed the required Mods.

A portal well done.

The colours are not to bright on the eyes either.

Images are the right size too.

Nice one as well, kept up-to-date throughout the years. Good job!
