online members dissappear
« on: November 13, 2010, 10:30:34 AM »
Since using Sp 2.3.3 on RC4 members start to disappear from the online list, what i mean is when i go into my ACP then return to the forums maybe two out of three of my members disappear sometimes all of them leaving only me in the members online list it is at random sometimes it do's it and other times it don't but yet they are still online talking in the shoutbox, it only seems to happen when SP is installed but is hard to tell if its happening without SP installed because of members coming and going.
I have reported it on simplemachines because I'm not sure if its SP or RC4
but they seem to think it is SP causing the issues.

Also my mates forum is exactly the same aswell since putting SP on there but seems to happen more frequently on his, like just browsing a board than returning back to the main page can result in members disappearing but yet again they are still chatting in the shout box

Seems to be more-so a problem with how your forum handles the session cache than a problem with SP.

Try asking over at http://simplemachines.org/

Well since unistalling it and trying a diffrent portal i have not had this problem now at all, i have had one or two problems now with SP since the update which I'm disappointed about because its the only portal i really liked anyway i think i will wait for the next Sp update and hopefully it will be back working how it was in RC3  :(
