Topic: Youtube Block from my existing Youtube Board

Hello there,

I have YOUTUBE section/category on my site

http://baask.com/diwwan/index.php?board=53.0

Now I  need a block to display latest 2/3 (as par admin choice) topics (having youtube video) from the above mentioned section.

Please advice how can I get my desired output?

Yes you are right.

Now may I re size these youtube videos as par my left or right block within SP? (means just display thumbneil of these videos)

SimplePortal is not set up to resize Youtube thumbnails.
If you have a look at how portal.js does this (function sp_resize is called by the onload event), and how you can recognize youtube thumbnails in these blocks, you can probably figure out how to get sp_resize to also resize these.
 
It could get messy, though. you'll want to test on a test forum.
